Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the draw is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, WA and NT residents of Australia aged 10 years and over. Employees of mcm syndication and their immediate families, associated agencies of mcm syndication and companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion.
3. The competition commences on Monday 26th October 2009 at 12:00 PM (AEST) and all entries must be received before Wednesday 28th October at 1:00PM (AEST).
4. To enter, participants must email Jono & Dano via the ‘Contact Us’ link on www.jonoandano.com.au and state in 25 words or less the name of Ali Campbell's new album and “what celebrity they'd like to "fly high" with and why?”.
5. Responses will be read and judged daily by a judging panel at mcm entertainment, Level 1, Building 210, The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, NSW 2021 at 2.00pm on each of Monday 26th October, Tuesday 27th October and Wednesday 28th October. The winners will be notified by phone. Winners will be determined on their creativity.
6. The two most creative entries each day from Monday 26th October and Tuesday 27th October will be selected to participate in a music trivia contest during the daily show. On Wednesday 28th October, the four most creative entries will be selected to participate in a music trivia contest during the daily show. On Thursday 29th October, the carry over champions from the Monday and Tuesday shows will compete against one another for a spot in the final play-off, and the two carry over champions from the Wednesday show will also compete against one another for a spot in the final play-off on Friday 30th October. The two remaining finalists will play off on Friday 30th October for the major prize.
7. All on-air trivia participants will receive an autographed copy of Ali Campbell’s album ‘Flying High’ valued at $29.95 (8 x winners in total). The on-air trivia participants’ prize pool is valued at $239.60.
Each daily trivia winner will also be awarded a set of Samsonite Duralite luggage valued at $900.00 (5 x winners in total). The daily trivia winners; prize pool is valued at $4,500.00
The major winner will be awarded a trip for two to Cairns, including 2 x return economy airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city to Cairns, flying Virgin Blue, 4 x nights accommodation at the 4 star Hotel Cairns, breakfast each day and the use of a Mercedes Smart Car on one day of their stay. The major prize is valued at a maximum of $2,000.00.
The total maximum value of the prize pool is $6,739.60.
8. The travel must be taken by 26th April 2010, subject to hotel and flight availability. The prize is not available during peak times such as public holidays and school holidays and cannot be changed once the booking has been made. If a winner and travelling companion are, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a nominated date, or do not take an element of the prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the major prize or any element thereof.
9. The Major Prize Winner (and their travelling companion) are responsible for all other expenses including additional spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (including departure taxes), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
10. The Major Prize Winner and their travelling companion must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth or Alice Springs).
11. Government taxes are an additional cost to the winners and their travelling companions and are required prior to ticketing.
12. Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline.
13. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.
14. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable.
15. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If the prizes are unavailable for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of similar value.
16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
17. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
18. mcm media and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. Once prizes have left Promoter's premises, the Promoter will not be responsible for any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of prizes.
19. The promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit their prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
20. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent. Entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
21. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under the Lottery and Gaming Regulation 1993 (SA), and state permit regulation.
22. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.
