Ian Moss, The Choirboys and Doug Mulray are just some of the names gathering for a few laughs and a lot of rock and roll for a benefit for Vic Davies. Vic is known as one half of Club Veg and he has been diagnosed with cancer.

President Barack Obama celebrated his own birthday by leading the White House press corps in singing Happy Birthday to veteran reporter Helen Thomas. Obama carried some cupcakes into the room where reporters were gathered. Here is the video:

Wow! Check out this video that Pete from Nowra sent us (thanks Pete!)... this was 1988 (we think) and we were part of a big ol' sporting anthem called You're Not Alone, stirring a bit of Aussie pride for Australia's Olympians in Seoul. Today on the show we checked in with an inspirational man, Mark Goozee. Sadly Mark's 9 year old daughter passed away from cancer so he has set about running, riding and kayaking around Australia to raise money for childhood cancer.
