Today on the show we put Jono to the test after he alleged that dodging eggs is an easy task (after Julia Gillard dodged one on her way into an office in Perth). Sure- Jono is dissadvantaged with his width- but he didn't let that phase him when he took on my challenge. 10 eggs were thrown and we only managed to hit him with one!!! What a missed opportunity for revenge.

Today on the show we caught up with John Du Prez, who has been the long time writing partner of Eric Idle.

John filled us in on his latest project NOT THE MESSIAH (He's A Very Naughty Boy).

In true Python style it’s is a fabulously entertaining 90 minute comic oratorio by Eric Idle and John Du Prez (creators of Tony Award winning smash hit Spamalot) inspired by Monty Python’s Life Of Brian, filmed at its only European performance at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate 40 years of Monty Python.  

The show has been turned into a very unique cinema event that will hit over 40 cinemas across Australia for one weekend only 31 July/1 August.

In our recent “You’re the Voice survey” one thing became clear: the need to spend more time on family communication.

So as we prepare to go to the polls we’re asking you to join our lobby group, to get our leaders to bring back a regular family catch-up (without the tele on) over a simple meal on a Tuesday night. To put it simply… We want to “Bring Back The Schnitz”.

We thought about various theme songs for our campaign, from Puttin’ on the Schnitz to Nutbush Schnitty limits, but then we came back to the main idea behind our lobby group- a real conversation and a simple meal.  So we really needed an anthem inspired by peace and bonding…. GIVE SCHNITZ A CHANCE!
