Australia’s most awarded and internationally renowned Bluesfest has officially found a permanent new home – at the Tyagarah Tea Tree farm just off the Pacific Highway, 12 minutes north of Byron Bay. The Easter weekend dates for your diary are Thursday April 1 through to Monday April 5, 2010!
So far the HUMUNGOUS lineup includes a lot of our good mates, including Ross Wilson’s Five Decades Of Cool, 10cc, Crowded House, Roger Hodgson from Supertramp, the RocKwiz team, Jimmy Barnes playing the Rhythm & the Blues, Renee Geyer, Colin Hay and his band AND Robert Gordon & the Gang They Couldn’t Hang, which features Chris Spedding (Roxy Music), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), and Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats). Wow!
There are so many great acts and they're all going to be in the same place!
The new and updated playing schedule is now online, and one day tickets are now also on sale. Visit bluesfest.com.au or phone the Bluesfest office on 02 6685 8310 for all of the extra details and most importantly, to buy tickets.
