Roger Glover from Deep Purple

Roger dropped by to chat to us about the time Deep Purple came to Perth in the 70s. The band decided to get all their guitar amps made here in Aus. However, when they started to play for a concert, they noticed that each of the amps had only one speaker instead of four. When they refused to play, their promoter at the time, an ex-American gangster from Melbourne threatened to blow their knee caps out if they didn't play!
-Needless to say, they played.
