Last year over 1500 Santa suited participants took part in Variety’s inaugural Variety Santa Fun Run, running through Sydney in full Santa attire to raise money for kids in need. This year on Sunday November 28th thousands more are expected to once again run in the hope of raising $400,000 for kids.
The colourful event will commence at 9am at Palm Grove (Tumbalong Park) at Darling Harbour and finish at the Sydney Opera House - while runners will follow “santa” suit in other states with South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia also staging Santa Fun Runs on November 28th – making it the ultimate national event!
You can run it, hop it, skip it or complete the course in baby steps, as long as you do it in a five piece Santa Suit which comes included with the affordable registration fee. Registration is $40 for adults and $20 for kids under 10 years.
